Job Description
•Establish jewelry repair production priorities in conjunction with scheduling, delivery, quality and cost.
•Coach, train, manage, develop and motivate a production team.
•Optimize production through the utilization of personnel, machinery and equipment.
•Review and analyze production efficiency, losses and quality on a regular ongoing basis and establish production and quality standards in conjunction with upper management.
•Determine causes and costs of nonconformance and implement corrective action as authorized to improve performance.
•Communicate daily objectives and priorities to the team and provided follow-up to ensure appropriate communication and job instructions reach all levels of the team.
•Ensure standard operating procedures are up-to-date and make sure those procedures are followed.
•Determine and request approval for proper staffing to achieve production and quality requirements for repairs and to maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
•Communicate plans to supervise and coordinate proper production coverage, and determine and recommend if overtime is needed, and then monitor all overtime usage efficiencies.
•Responsible for creating a positive employee relations atmosphere.
•Work with upper management and be responsible for the timely evaluation and disposition of new employees.
•Responsible for ensuring all employees receive an annual performance review and provide regular and consistent feedback and communicate issues to Human Resource Manager.
•Responsible for compliance with OSHA and health and safety regulations and report any issues and follow up with the appropriate managers to solve the problems.
•Comply with company rules and regulations and maintain confidentiality and company sensitive data.
•Implement a commitment to quality philosophy and recommend methods and procedures to reduce cost and/or improve operating efficiency of the team.

Job Requirements
•Job Type: Full-time
•Minimum five years of management and bench jewelry experience, specializing in jewelry repair; including but not limited to ring sizing, stone setting, chain soldering, inventory of metals, diamonds and colored stones.
•Ability to motivate the team to perform at an elevated level while producing the highest quality, yet equally able to discipline as necessary with a consistent and fair approach.
•Knowledge of computers along with analytical ability.
•Effective communication skills, bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not a requirement.
