Vortic Watch Company salvages and restores antique American pocket watches and turns them into one of a kind wrist watches. We have multiple watchmakers who literally make the watches we sell. Each one is hand-made, one at a time, by an individual. No mass production here. Every day, and every watch, is different.
This is a Full-Time position and the applicant MUST be local to Fort Collins or the Northern Colorado area. We work four 10 hour days, Monday to Thursday 7am to 6pm. That does mean early mornings and long days, but it also means EVERY FRIDAY OFF. Three day weekends are even nicer if they’re every weekend.
You will work directly for one of our watchmakers and slowly learn the skills needed to build our watches. Once you’ve successfully learned all aspects of our manufacturing system and shown your capabilities, you’ll be able to start building watches with the rest of the team.
We are looking for someone who’s patient, positive, and has steady hands. If you love solving problems, making things, and watching something come to life before your eyes, this might be the job for you.

All our associates are salary based and 50% of your healthcare and dental costs are paid for by the company, up to $200 per month. Periodic bonuses are given based on the performance of the company and the associate.
