Job Description

•The daily organization and management of the Watchmaking department; ensure that qualitative and quantitive targets are constantly met. Improve productivity and quality. Planning, delegation and control of work
•People management, coaching and development of employees (performance appraisals Develop the Workshop by coaching co-workers and encourage individual development. Apply lean structures and training to maximize efficiency of employees. Evaluate the work of the watchmakers to improve the overall quality of the services provided and keep comeback services to an absolute minimum
•Administration, analysis & reporting about the performance of the department regarding i.e. Volume, quality, lead times & cost. Daily monitoring of output, correctness of all repair statuses, and forecast short and mid-term required capacity and planning
•Develop long term and mid-term strategy and development plans to further improve efficiency and effectiveness of the department
•Ensure compliance to The Swatch Group standards, policies, procedures and guidelines and the maintenance / upkeep of them including health & safety standards

Profile
The management and development of the Watchmaking department. This includes responsibility for the diagnosis and service for mid-range and high end watches according to defined targets, standards, policies and procedures. Provide technical support to The Swatch Group Brands, Customer Service administration and other departments.

Professional Requirements
•Excellent knowledge of / and experience with mechanical watches (including chronograph and other complications)
•Minimum 5 years of relevant experience managing a workshop department of a similar size
•High degree of organization and follow-through
•High attention to detail
