This position will be based in office at our New York City Location.

Job Description:
We are looking for a Watchmaker to join our Service Team at our corporate office. The team reports to the After Sales Manager, who oversees Customer Service and the Parts Department. This is not a client-facing role, and you do not have to interact with customers. You will be responsible for servicing Raymond Weil models: quartz and mechanical movements, including chronographs. Each repair concludes with a period of Quality Control to ensure that timepieces operate properly. We do not provide “While You Wait” services; all repairs go into a queue to be assigned to our watchmakers.
Your responsibilities:
- Diagnosis and evaluation of watches that are submitted for repair
- Basic and Complete services, including water resistance tests
- Inspect timepieces for accuracy: beat errors, consumption, or amplitude
- Regulate mechanical timepieces
- Disassembly/assembly of case, mechanism, and bracelet
- Component fitting, gluing, oiling, and hairspring adjustments
- Work with management to ensure quality control standards
Job requirements
- Certification from an accredited Watchmaker School is preferred but not required
- You have experience in escapement and hairspring adjustments
- You are team oriented and a dedicated worker
- You are able to remain in a seated position for an extended period of time

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year

- No weekends
