We are seeking a passionate and experienced clockmaker to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a meticulous eye for detail, and will need to work well with others.

Horologist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and repairs on a variety of brands and their mechanical and quartz movements.
  • Although the role is not customer-facing, you will need to feel comfortable talking to customers at times.
  • Occasional collection and delivery of larger clocks
  • Carry out detailed estimates of clocks.
  • Carry out refurbishment of clock cases and housing, where needed.
  • Achieve workload targets within agreed time frames.
  • Maintain high standard of work, keeping returns to a minimum.
  • Ensure all tools used are appropriately maintained.
  • Work with the workshop team to maintain stock control and ensure parts are ordered.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Well rounded organizational skills and the ability to work well on your own and well within a team.
  • BHI certification or thorough working knowledge and experience.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and ability to problem solve.
  • A self- motivated individual who is able to deliver high standards of quality.
  • Have an enthusiastic and positive personality and effectively manage your time and productivity whilst at work.
