Spicer Greene Jewelers, an upscale, full-service, family-owned jewelry house located in the heart of downtown Asheville, NC for nearly a century, is seeking a Master Jeweler to join our distinguished team. Key Responsibilities:
Perform expert-level repairs, restorations, and custom jewelry fabrication.
Precision setting of diamonds and colored gemstones in all techniques (prong, bezel, pave, channel, tension, etc.).
Work confidently with gold, platinum, palladium, and silver.
Execute advanced jewelry manufacturing, casting, fabrication, and laser welding.
Collaborate with our in-house Designers, Appraisers, and Sales Professionals to bring custom designs and repairs to life.
Maintain jeweler’s shop operations, including care of all tools and equipment.
Assist in developing innovative techniques and maintain Spicer Greene’s high standard of craftsmanship.
Ensure timely completion of work to support our sales and service goals.
Qualifications:
5+ years of professional jewelry bench experience, preferably at the Master level.
Highly proficient in intricate stone setting, custom fabrication, and jewelry repair across a wide range of fine materials.
Strong experience with laser welders, CAD-assisted manufacturing is a plus.
Exceptional attention to detail and quality.
Positive, collaborative, and team-oriented mindset.
Strong communication skills; ability to interact with internal teams and ownership.
Ability to work weekends as needed.
What We Offer:
Competitive Salary: $65,000 – $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
