Within the Laboratory department, your main tasks will be to ensure the qualification of our watch heads, movements and watch components, to write control instructions and to provide support to the various departments regarding specific analyses.

In this role, you will be responsible for: 

• Perform performance and aging tests on our watch heads, movements and watch components, as well as analyses of movements after qualification tests.
• Express and formalize findings and measurements, and write analysis and qualification reports.
• Conducting specific analyses to support assembly and quality control workshops
• Define the plans and qualification sheets for new products, in line with the AP test catalogs.
• Write and maintain specific control instructions for watch heads
• Define the programs for measuring the chronometric performance of the movements and for controlling the barrels

• Holding a Swiss Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) in Watchmaking or equivalent qualification, ideally supplemented by training as a Watchmaking Design Technician, you have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
• You have experience in the field of complex mechanical movements.
• You are used to using devices for measuring and measuring mechanical and climatic aging.
• You possess knowledge in statistical data measurement and processing
• You have a good knowledge of the MS-Office suite
• You demonstrate rigor and are proactive.
• You possess strong analytical and summarization skills and are equipped with excellent writing abilities.
• You are open-minded and a good listener, and you enjoy working in a team.
