Female Watch Service Tech

Role Description

We are seeking a full-time, on-site Watch Technician to join our team at RAYMOND WEIL in New York, NY. The Watch Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing quality control on both customer-owned and company-owned watches. This position reports to the Head Watchmaker and works closely with the Customer Service Team to ensure the highest standards of service are maintained.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose watches and identify required and optional repairs following company guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Service Team to manage repair files, respond to technical inquiries, and resolve service issues.
  • Disassemble, clean, reassemble, lubricate, and test watches in a timely manner.
  • Overhaul and/or replace ETA and Sellita-based mechanical movements (e.g., ETA 2824, 2892, 7750; Sellita SW200, SW300, SW500).
  • Replace quartz movements (ETA or Ronda) and perform battery replacements.

·        Ensure water resistance and carry out pressure tests using appropriate equipment.

·        Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and tools.

·        Report technical issues or recurring faults to improve quality standards.

Qualifications & Experience

·        A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

·        2+ years of professional experience in watch repair (3–5 years preferred).
