DI is looking for a Watchmaker / Horological Technician!
The ideal candidate is a watchmaker who’s ready to join a dynamic and expanding team who will be responsible for watch repairs from start to finish. This includes dismantling the watch, performing the necessary service and/or repair, preparing/assembling the case and encasing the movement.
The watchmaker must have the experience and skillset to service all kinds of movements, including
quartz, automatic, mechanical, and chronographs.
Job Details
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Watchmaker/ Horological Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will possess the technical expertise and craftsmanship required to diagnose, repair, service and maintain mechanical, automatic and quartz timepieces. This role involves working on a wide range of luxury watch brands including Breitling, Hublot, Cartier, Omega, and other prestigious manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities
Watch Repair & Servicing
•Diagnose mechanical, automatic, and quartz watch issues with accuracy and efficiency.
•Perform complete disassembly, cleaning, lubrication, assembly, adjustment, and regulation of watch movements.
•Conduct routine maintenance and full overhauls in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
Component Fabrication & Restoration
•Manufacture, modify, or restore watch components that are obsolete or unavailable through standard supply channels.
•Utilize lathes, precision tooling, and specialized watchmaking equipment to fabricate parts when necessary.
Testing & Quality Assurance
•Perform timing analysis and movement testing using electronic timing instruments.
•Conduct water-resistance and pressure testing to verify performance standards.
•Inspect and validate completed repairs to ensure compliance with brand and company quality standards.
Documentation & Recordkeeping
•Maintain accurate service records, repair notes, parts usage, and technica documentation.
•Communicate repair findings and recommendations clearly when required.Continuous Improvement
•Stay current with evolving watchmaking technologies, repair techniques, and manufacturer service standards.
•Contribute to a culture of excellence, craftsmanship, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Training
•Completion of a recognized watchmaking program (WOSTEP, SAWTA, AWCI, Lititz, or equivalent) or a formal apprenticeship.
•Manufacturer certifications are highly desirable.
Technical Skills
•Proven experience servicing luxury mechanical, chronograph and quartz timepieces.
•Strong understanding of watch movements, complications, and horological principles.
•Proficiency with watchmaking tools, microscopes, loupes, timing machines, pressure testers, lathes, and specialized lubricants.

•Exceptional manual dexterity and attention to detail.
•Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
•Ability to perform highly meticulous work for extended periods.
•Commitment to precision, quality, and continuous learning.
Preferred Qualifications
•Brand certifications from luxury manufacturers such as Breitling, Rolex, Omega, Cartier,Hublot, TAG Heuer, Tudor, or similar.
•Experience working within an authorized service center or luxury watch repair environment.
