The Henri Stern Watch Agency is looking for a Watchmaker to join our team in New York City!
Role Description
Under the supervision of the Workshop Manager, based on experience and technical ability, you would be expected to work on a range of timepieces ranging from manually wound movements through more complicated timepieces including vertical clutch chronographs, perpetual calendars, and manual wound chronographs.

Key Responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform detailed diagnostics, modifications, and optimization of components for peak performance.
- Diagnose, service, and replace defective or worn components with precision.
- Verify performance and water resistance using timing machines and vacuum testing equipment.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and machinery for peak performance.
- Support workshop operations through inventory management and organization.
- Uphold Patek Philippe’s global standards for quality and repair timelines.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years watchmaking experience.
- Solid micromechanical skills and knowledge of escapement systems, hairspring adjustments, and parts optimization.
- Ability to work confidently with workshop tools and test equipment.
- Apply critical thinking to problem-solve and meet repair timelines.
- High attention to detail and strong hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a focused workshop setting.
- Clear communication skills and discipline to maintain consistency under pressure.
- Exceptional focus, dexterity, and self-discipline.
- Comfort working in a quiet, high-performance workshop.

The Henri Stern Watch Agency was officially incorporated in 1946. Today, the company has 85 employees and is the sole distributor and official service center for the United States.
