Position
As a Third Category Watchmaker / Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out watch repairs and maintenance, performing diagnostics and quality checks, and ensuring the proper functioning of each timepiece. You will also interact directly with customers when receiving repairs, providing a friendly, professional, and solution-oriented service.

Job responsibilities
Diagnosis and Quotation
- Carry out thorough diagnostics and prepare accurate quotations for all types of watches, both quartz and mechanical.
- Determine the spare parts required for each intervention, coordinating their request with the Spare Parts Department.
Technical Maintenance and Repairs
- Perform essential maintenance work, such as battery replacements, water-resistance testing, and partial repairs (crystal, crown, hands, etc.) on quartz watches.
- Carry out complex and complete repairs on automatic mechanical movements, chronographs (standard and manufacture), and, in general, across all models in the TAG Heuer collection.
- Replace and adjust quartz and automatic movements.
- Perform bracelet repairs and adjustments.
Quality Control and Operational Excellence
- Post-repair controls: Conduct rigorous final quality checks on every repaired watch, both aesthetic and technical, ensuring compliance with the brand’s standards.
- Subcontractor management: Monitor the quality of repairs carried out by subcontractors, providing and communicating constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Preparation for shipment: Carefully package watches in their repair cases for final shipment to the customer.
- Performance and targets: Maintain repair return and quality-control return rates within the performance targets defined by the brand.
Equipment Maintenance
- Ensure the weekly maintenance of polishing and cleaning equipment, guaranteeing optimal performance and extending its service life.
Customer Service (Occasional)
- Provide direct customer support and assistance at the reception desk, offering technical information and advice when required.
Profile
1. Technical Knowledge and Experience
- Expertise in quartz watchmaking: Solid knowledge and proven experience in the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of quartz movements and quartz chronographs.
- Expertise in mechanical watchmaking (desirable): Knowledge and/or experience in servicing automatic mechanical movements, chronographs, and manufacture movements.
- Aesthetic and finishing fundamentals: Knowledge of or experience in polishing techniques and the refurbishment of cases and bracelets.
- Quality control: Demonstrated experience in conducting post-repair quality checks, both technical and aesthetic.
