Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Goldsmith to manage all aspects of jewelry repair, stone setting, and finishing. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive mastery of jewelry craftsmanship, including stone setting in various styles, soldering, sizing, and finishing. This role involves overseeing daily repair work, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship, and maintaining the integrity of our jewelry inventory. Proficiency in TIG welding and mechanical knowledge are essential to perform precise repairs and modifications. Pay is based on experience and skill level.

Responsibilities
- Manage all day-to-day repair work, including soldering, finishing, and quality control of jewelry pieces.
- Perform stone setting in all styles such as prong, bezel, and channel settings with precision and attention to detail.
- Size rings and execute prong work to ensure proper fit and durability.
- Conduct TIG welding for repairs and modifications requiring advanced welding techniques.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and execute complex repairs or adjustments on jewelry items.
- Ensure all jewelry repairs meet high standards of craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain tools and equipment to ensure optimal working conditions.
- Take responsibility for the care and handling of inventory, ensuring that all pieces are properly maintained during repair processes.
Experience
- Proven proficiency in master jeweler skills including stone setting in various styles (prong, bezel, channel).
- Extensive experience with soldering, finishing work, ring sizing, prong work, and other jewelry fabrication techniques.
- Skilled in TIG welding with a strong mechanical aptitude for jewelry repairs.
- Demonstrated ability to manage daily repair workflows efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Prior experience working in a jewelry repair shop or similar environment is preferred.

Pay: $100,000.00 – $200,000.00 per year
