Title: Experienced Bench Jeweler (Custom & Bespoke)

What We Need

  • Metal Mastery: Expert-level experience working with gold, silver, and platinum (including the specific challenges of platinum welding and soldering).
  • Expert Craftsmanship: Proven experience in setting, buffing, and polishing gold, silver, and platinum.
  • Precision Setting: Proficiency in a wide array of setting styles, from traditional prong and bezel to advanced pavé and channel settings.
  • Restoration Expertise: A proven track record in advanced jewelry repair and the delicate art of heirloom restoration.
  • Finishing Skills: Mastery of buffing and polishing to achieve a high-end, mirror-like finish on complex geometries.
  • Technical Eye: The ability to identify and correct casting flaws and ensure every piece is structurally sound and aesthetically perfect.
  • An Artisan’s Eye: Extreme attention to detail and a deep sense of pride in the finished product. We do not do “chain store” work; we do precision work.
  • Trustworthiness: The ability to work with high-value materials and sentimental pieces with the utmost care and respect.
  • Reliability: A professional who is punctual and takes ownership of every piece that touches their bench.
  • Verification: An in-person bench test is required for hire.

Pay: $20.00 – $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Experience:

  • Jeweler: 2 years (Required)
  • Stone Setting: 1 year (Preferred)
