Overview
Radcliffe Jewelers | The 1916 Company is seeking a highly skilled and talented bench jeweler to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep passion for jewelry-making, exceptional technical expertise, and meticulous attention to detail. As a bench jeweler, you will play a crucial role in crafting and repairing high-end jewelry pieces to meet our exacting standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
- Execute intricate jewelry repairs, resizing, and restoration work on various types of precious metals and gemstones.
- Create exquisite custom jewelry pieces according to client specifications, utilizing a range of techniques including stone setting, soldering, polishing, and engraving.
- Utilize a wide array of tools and equipment, including but not limited to lasers, microscopes, and specialized machinery, to perform intricate jewelry work.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Ability to work with all metals, including 14k, 18k, platinum and sterling silver.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with team members and customers.
- A commitment to upholding the highest standards of craftmanship and quality in all work produced.
- Proven experience as a bench jeweler or similar role in a luxury jewelry setting.
- Proficiency in a variety of jewelry-making techniques such as stone setting, soldering, engraving, and polishing.
- Attention to detail and excellent craftsmanship.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a bench jeweler
- Proficient in laser welding.
- Proficient in finishing castings and polishing.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 – $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
