Job Opening for Bench Jeweler (Asheville, NC)

Spicer Greene , an upscale, full service, family owned jewelry store located in downtown Asheville NC for almost a century is seeking a Bench Jeweler to become part of our family. Duties include:

• In addition to performing jewelry maintenance and repair, the Jeweler will be responsible for the jeweler’s shop and maintaining all equipment. The ideal candidate will be an expert at basic sizing, soldering and prong work, laser welding, pave work, setting in gold, platinum and silver, jewelry manufacturing and casting, custom jewelry design and precious stone setting.
• The Jeweler works closely with the Owners and General Manager to achieve jewelry shop financial objectives. Successful candidates will work well in a team environment, communicate effectively and have a strong work ethic. The Jeweler position requires working some evenings and weekends.

Pay: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
