Kaufmann de Suisse Jewelers, established in 1954 is looking for a Bench Jeweler for our Delray Beach, FL. location
Ideally, you will have worked in New York for your career, and have decided to move to Florida to retire, but still would like to keep working part time. We are offering up to 3 days per week, and it could also be 2 days to start.
You should have a minimum of 10 years experience, and the ability to do the following:
1. make wax or CAD models as per sketch for custom jewelry orders
2. make and assemble jewelry by hand with precision and a at a good speed
3. set diamonds, colored and precious gemstones in all setting styles (pave, channel, prong, etc.) with precision and with all tables aligned.
4. Polish cleanly, evenly and gently and thoroughly
5. hand engrave items, with skill, precision and beauty (desired but not essential)
6. carry out repairs, refurbishing’s, restorations, remodeling’s, etc.
7. Change Watch Batteries, fix links, chains, and all other types of repairs.
Must have a can-do attitude and old school skills and manners.
Free parking during working hours.
Two weeks paid vacation after one year of service; free time as needed.

Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 24 per week
