Job Title: Experienced Bench Jeweler (Jewelry Repair Specialist)
Position Summary:
AI Description: We are seeking an experienced Bench Jeweler with strong skills in jewelry repair, restoration, and finishing. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and takes pride in producing high-quality craftsmanship. This position involves working on customer jewelry, including ring sizing, soldering, stone setting, polishing, and general repairs.
Jim’s Description: I need someone who comes in and just gets to work on jewelry repair and finishing. We build and repair all our work in house, and I prefer quality over quantity. I am a huge work/life balance advocate, so if you have more time needed off for events/family/ or just a concert you really want to go to, we work with each other to cover shifts as long as the work is being done. I do not do forced overtime, but there is opportunity for overtime if you need some extra cash.
We are a small growing family friendly jewelry store. People come here for the customer service, and quality. Having some people skills helps because they will want to thank the person that worked on their piece for them from time to time.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all types of jewelry repairs, including ring sizing, soldering, prong re-tipping, chain repair, and stone setting
- Clean, polish, and refinish jewelry to a professional standard
- Inspect and evaluate jewelry to determine necessary repairs and ensure quality control
- Work with precious metals and gemstones using proper tools and techniques
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Communicate effectively with store staff or management about repair details and timelines
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a bench jeweler or jewelry repair technician
- Proficient in soldering, torch work, polishing, and stone setting
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines without compromising quality
- Experience with laser welding (preferred but not required)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 – $30.00 per hour
