Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Bench Jeweler who takes pride in their craft and is passionate about fine jewelry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of jewelry repairs, custom work, and restoration services, ensuring the highest quality standards and customer satisfaction.

Jewelry Repair

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform intricate jewelry repairs, including ring sizing, stone setting, soldering, polishing, and chain repair.
  • Execute custom modifications and fabrication of fine jewelry based on customer requests.
  • Clean, inspect, and assess jewelry to determine necessary repairs and provide estimates.
  • Work closely with sales associates and customers to discuss repair options and pricing.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces for efficiency, safety, and cleanliness.
  • Ensure all work meets industry best practices and store quality standards.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, techniques, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Bench Jeweler.
  • Expertise in stone setting, metalwork, and jewelry finishing techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of various metals, gemstones, and jewelry manufacturing processes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, retail environment.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • GIA or other jewelry-related certifications are a plus.

Pay: $27.00 – $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
