Entry-Level Jeweler Position at First Vibes LLC

First Vibes LLC, home to brands like Custom Gold Grillz and Niv’s Bling, is a fast-growing e-commerce company redefining the custom jewelry space. As we expand our in-house production, we’re hiring a Jewelry Lab Assistant to support key operations in our casting and benchwork pipeline.

This hands-on, entry-level role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, values precision, and wants to learn the fundamentals of custom jewelry manufacturing—from mold prep to metal finishing.

Jewelry Making

About the Role

As part of our in-office production team, you’ll assist in the day-to-day tasks that bring custom grillz and jewelry to life:

  • Prepare and pour dental stone molds from customer impressions
  • Assist in waxing over molds in preparation for casting
  • Support with wax tree assembly and casting prep (silver and gold)
  • Perform routine bench tasks: cleaning, organizing, polishing, and prepping materials
  • Clean and finish raw castings using tools and equipment
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient lab workspace
  • Assist production leads with other hands-on tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • A strong interest in jewelry making, production, or craftsmanship
  • Comfortable handling tools, machinery, and delicate components
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions with high attention to detail
  • Ability to switch between tasks and work collaboratively
  • Reliable, organized, and eager to grow with a small, fast-paced team
  • English fluency required
  • Previous jewelry experience is a plus, but not required. *

Schedule and Location

  • Monday through Friday, 9am to 5:30pm, including two paid 10-minute breaks and an unpaid lunch break
  • Paid federal holidays off
  • Position based in our office in Martinez, CA

Compensation and Benefits

  • Hourly rate between $17.00 – $20.00, negotiable based on experience

*Please note that a short bench test will be part of the interview process if you have previous jewelry experience.
