Wedding Day Diamonds: a leader in the Twin Cities jewelry industry. We are looking for reliable, talented and experienced Bench Jewelers who are dedicated to their craft and are willing to meet the needs of our clients by providing the highest quality of product possible. A qualified individual would have a strong work ethic, exceptional attention to detail, reliable attendance and performance, and can communicate effectively. With our No Fine Print Warranty, it is imperative that our goldsmiths are practiced working with all precious metals, and possess a variety of skills ranging from replacing stones, repairing damaged jewelry, or engraving rings.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be able to work full-time, Monday through Friday
- 2+ years of experience
- Technical training in metal or jewelry programs preferred
- Complete a bench test for assessment purposes
Key Responsibilities:
As a Wedding Day Goldsmith you must be able to:
- Set all shapes and sizes of diamonds and gemstones
- Set center stones in a variety of crowns
- Size rings in all precious metals
- Re-shank rings (half and full)
- Re-tip prongs
- Build Channels
- Solder/Unsolder Rings
- Rebuild galleries
- Refurbish jewelry (rings, earrings, etc.)
- Repair chains in bracelets or necklaces
- Maintain and organize the jeweler’s shop and equipment
- Engrave inside of rings
