Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Jeweler to join our team. As a Jeweler, you will be responsible for crafting and repairing jewelry pieces using a variety of hand and power tools. The ideal candidate will have experience in jewelry fabrication and assembly, as well as strong mechanical knowledge.
Responsibilities:
-Retipping Prongs and Channel Repair
– Repair damaged jewelry by soldering, polishing, and replacing stones
– Use hand tools and power tools to shape, cut, and polish metal and gemstones
– Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
– Advanced Stone Setting
– Maintain a clean and organized work area
– Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines
Requirements:
– Previous experience as a Jeweler or similar role
– Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for jewelry making
– Strong attention to detail and precision
– Knowledge of different types of metals, gemstones, and their properties
– Ability to read and interpret design specifications
– Laser Welding Experience (a plus)
