We are seeking an experienced Master Jeweler to join our team in St. Augustine, Florida. This position is ideal for a highly skilled professional who takes pride in exceptional craftsmanship, precision, and attention to detail. The Master Jeweler will be responsible for advanced bench work, fine jewelry repair, and stone setting, while upholding the highest standards of quality and professionalism.

Jewelry Sales and Repairs

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform complex jewelry repairs, restorations, and fabrication
  • Set diamonds and colored gemstones using various techniques, including prong, bezel, channel, and pavĂ©
  • Resize rings and modify fine jewelry with precision and care
  • Maintain consistent quality standards and ensure all work meets company expectations
  • Inspect pieces for accuracy, durability, and finish before completion
  • Communicate effectively with management and sales staff regarding timelines and technical requirements
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workbench and workspace

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional bench jeweler experience; master-level skills required
  • Advanced stone-setting experience
  • Strong knowledge of metals, gemstones, and jewelry construction
  • Proficiency in soldering, polishing, fabrication, and laser welding (preferred)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines
  • Professional demeanor and commitment to craftsmanship

Work Environment

This role is based in our St. Augustine, Florida location and offers the opportunity to work in a well-established, professional environment that values quality craftsmanship and long-term growth. We are excited to announce Blue Water is growing! Our new building will be completed fall of 2026 and just down the road. St. Augustine is perfectly located between Daytona and Jacksonville on the beach with a laid-back atmosphere. Blue Water Jewelers is family owned and operated and currently in a 4,000 square foot building, and our new location will be 6,000 square feet with state of the art equipment.

Requirements:
5 yrs + experience
In person bench test
Fluent in English
Work holidays and weekends
No smoking

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour
