JOB DESCRIPTION

Diamond Vault is seeking a full time Bench Jeweler.

This position will handle general jewelry repair and manufacturing corresponding to skill and experience, as well as while-you-wait services like inspections, cleanings, polishing, rhodium plating, watch batteries, and watch band adjustments. Additional duties will included working closely with other jewelers to meet repair deadlines and maintain shop cleanliness and organization. Further consideration will be given to those who have demonstrable experience in custom design, manufacturing, or CAD/CAM.

An on-site bench test will be required.

Compensation will correspond with experience. Benefits include company paid health insurance, paid holidays, group dental/vision rates, and generous 401(K) & profit sharing.

Jeweler

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in jewelry repair
  • Proficient in all aspects of jewelry care, metalsmithing, repair, and polishing
  • Knowledge of gemstone care and precautions
  • Experience in stone setting

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prioritize and maintain repair deadlines
  • Perform basic watch services (batteries and band adjustments)
  • Process repair orders and update status through computer
  • Maintain a clean and organized workshop
  • Perform daily setup and shutdown procedures
  • Perform scheduled maintenance on tools, equipment, and supplies
  • Track and maintain shop supplies

COMPENSATION PACKAGE

  • Hourly Compensation with Overtime (Annual Base Pay Equivalent: $56,000 – $79,000)
