Your Impact:
As a Watchmaker, you will help to significantly elevate customer experience, sales potential, and brand credibility. You will perform on-site diagnostics and repairs, reducing service turnaround times, and boosting customer satisfaction. Your expertise builds trust with clients.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct meticulous assessments of each incoming timepiece, capturing detailed notes to document condition, previous wear, and any signs of prior servicing
- Analyze mechanical movements to identify malfunctions or anomalies, ensuring a holistic diagnosis that considers both visible and underlying issues
- Interpret client concerns and translate them into precise technical evaluations
- Recommend service levels in accordance with Rolex’s standards and brand-specific protocols, ensuring accuracy and transparency
- Clearly communicate findings and service proposals to Customer Service staff or directly to the client where appropriate
- Generate parts lists for ordering and confirm availability and delivery timelines.
- Carefully dismantle timepieces using appropriate anti-static tools and under controlled environmental workshop conditions
- Execute case and bracelet refinishing using a range of specialized techniques (polishing, satin-finishing, sandblasting, lapping), matched to the brand’s finishing standards and certification level
- Verify water proofness using advanced testing methods (air pressure, vacuum chamber, and water immersion systems), documenting results.
- Perform full overhauls of mechanical movements.
- Inspect and replace worn or damaged components.
- Adjust and regulate timing using advanced timing equipment (e.g., Witschi or Greiner systems), ensuring chronometric accuracy within brand standards
- Maintain an immaculate and efficient workstation in accordance with both Raffi Jewellers and Rolex specifications
- Ensure that all watchmaking tools and components are organized, secured, and inventoried
As a Senior Watchmaker:
- Maintain up-to-date documentation on technical procedures, updates, and service bulletins from partnered brands
- Serve as the senior technical expert and mentor for junior watchmakers, guiding their development through demonstrations, reviews, and hands-on training
- Establish and enforce workshop policies and protocols to maintain consistency, safety, and quality
- Liaise directly with brand representatives, service centers, and technical trainers to ensure compliance with evolving standards and innovations
- Provide expert insight and education to clients when necessary, including consultations on care, servicing intervals, and timepiece preservation
- Represent Raffi Jewellers’ watchmaking excellence at industry events, training sessions, and client appreciation engagements
Must-Haves:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in watchmaking; at least 2 years as a Senior Watchmaker for the Senior Watchmaker role
- Completion and/or Certification in recognized Watchmaking Program
- Able to complete a bench test and training by Rolex
- High level of dexterity and focus to handle small parts
- Strong attention to detail with organizational and time-management skills.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality in handling client information.
