Job Title: Watchmaker/ Watch Technician
Duration: Full Time

Job Description:
You will own the repair lifecycle from intake through delivery, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and transparency at every step. This includes coordinating work between in-house and contracted watchmakers, managing parts and timelines, performing quality control, and providing clear updates to clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities Repair Intake & Client Communication
Conduct repair intakes, assess watch condition, and determine appropriate service scope
Authenticate and appraise watches submitted for service
Communicate clearly with clients at key milestones (intake, approvals, delays, completion)
Ensure expectations around cost, timing, and outcomes are clearly set and met
Repair Workflow & Watchmaker Coordination
Route repairs to the appropriate watchmaker based on skill level and complexity
Maintain continuous communication with watchmakers and vendors
Track timelines, approvals, parts orders, and milestones using Airtable / CRM
Order parts, monitor ETAs, and manage delays proactively
Perform technical bench work within your area of expertise
Quality Control & Technical Standards
Perform final QC on all completed repairs
Verify visual finish, functionality, accuracy, and performance
Ensure all watches meet internal standards before client release
Financial & Administrative Oversight
Prepare accurate repair pricing and estimates
Secure approvals and manage declines, warranty work, and returns
Track repair timelines and ensure consistent internal and client-facing updates
Supervise and mentor in-house students, contractors, or support staff as applicable
What We’re Looking For
Experience in watch repair, service coordination, or technical watch industry roles
Strong diagnostic ability and high personal quality standards
Familiarity with timing machines, pressure testing, case and bracelet work, and parts sourcing
Exceptional organization and documentation habits (Airtable or CRM experience a plus)
Clear, professional communication with clients, watchmakers, and vendors
Ability to manage multiple jobs, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously
