Assignment
The Watch Finisher is responsible for giving a perfect aesthetic finish to the component parts of a watch, such as cases, case backs, bracelet links, clasps, or jewelry pieces, using various tools (cloth discs, brushes) coated with abrasive material. They perform their tasks manually using specific tools.
For 3 years, our dual training is provided internally by our experienced Training Manager, in conjunction with the Porrentruy technical vocational school.

Responsibilities
- Learning how to organize and prepare work according to guidelines and operating procedures;
- Learning the meticulous preparation of machined parts, by deburring and correcting surfaces to obtain a perfectly clean and regular base;
- Learning about different types of surface finishes such as mirror polishing, satin finishing, micro-bead blasting, using specific tools (cloth polishing disc with abrasive paste, satin brush, compressed air micro-bead blaster) and machines.
- Perform rigorous visual and dimensional checks to verify the consistency of finishes, the absence of defects and compliance with high standards.
