Job Summary
As a Watchmaker at Perpetual Time, you will perform precision servicing, repair, and restoration of luxury mechanical and quartz timepieces. You will be responsible for diagnostics, disassembly, cleaning, lubrication, assembly, and quality assurance, ensuring every watch meets Perpetual Time’s strict standards of performance and aesthetics.
Key Responsibilities
· Disassemble, clean, lubricate, and reassemble mechanical and quartz watches to factory or aftermarket standards.
· Diagnose and repair movement and timing issues, including replacing worn or damaged parts.
· Perform waterproof testing, case/bracelet refurbishment, and polishing as needed.
· Inspect watches for authenticity and collaborate with the retail team for sourcing and client updates.
· Maintain detailed records of service, parts, and time tracking.
· Uphold cleanliness, organization, and tool maintenance within the workshop.
· Support workflow management and coordinate with management to improve service operations.
Qualifications & Skills
· 3–5 years of experience servicing luxury watches (e.g., Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet).
· Formal watchmaking training or certification (e.g., WOSTEP, AWCI, or equivalent).
· Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity for micro‑precision tasks.
· Ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues and perform full-service restoration.
· Familiarity with modern horology tools and diagnostic equipment (timing machines, demagnetizers, etc.).
· Exceptional attention to detail and high standards of workmanship.
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
· Integrity and discretion when handling high-value timepieces.
Working Conditions & Benefits
