Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Watch Maker based in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale area. The Watch Maker will be primarily responsible for assembling, maintaining, and repairing watches with precision and quality standards. Day-to-day activities include diagnosing and fixing mechanical and technical issues, cleaning and lubricating watch movements, crafting or refining components, and performing quality checks to ensure optimal functionality. The Watch Maker will collaborate closely with a skilled team to meet production goals and deliver impeccable craftsmanship.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in watch assembly, maintenance, and repair
- Proficiency in the use of tools and equipment specific to watchmaking
- Keen attention to detail, steady hands, and excellent hand-eye coordination
- Problem-solving skills, including the ability to diagnose and fix mechanical issues
- Experience with maintaining quality standards in manufacturing or craftsmanship
- Effective communication and collaborative skills to work within a team
- Basic knowledge of materials used in watchmaking and the ability to handle sensitive components
- Completion of a watchmaking certification or formal training program is highly desirable
