Essential Functions:
Inspections
•Review watch in a time efficient manner making sure information is correct: warranty date, serial, box, papers, etc.
•Evaluate the timing, functionality and aesthetics of each watch (quartz/mechanical/complications)
•Authenticity/counterfeits checks
•Identify any repairs needed and price them accordingly for repair distribution after purchase
•Document and provide a detailed description of watch and repair cost using an internal application
•Review difficult/vintage pieces with brand managers

Returns
•Document the condition of returned watch through custom digital form
•Notify sales associate and sales support when customer needs to be charged for repair costs
Quality Control
•Perform final quality control on serviced watches: aesthetics/power reserve/timing precision/complications
Re-evaluate aged stock
Skills, Knowledge & Personal Attribute Requirements:
•High school diploma, GED or greater
•Watch parts, product and watch repair process knowledge is necessary
•Watchmaking experience including WOSTEP, CW21, SAWTA, OWME certifications preferred, but not required
•Timepiece inspection experience
•Proficiency with typing and computer literacy
•Ability to self-prioritize workload
•Good organizational skills and attention to detail
•Ability to both focus and multi-task when needed – the demands of this job change daily based on volume
Physical Requirements
•Able to use magnifying tools (handheld or watchmaker loupe) visually inspects watch to evaluate performance and identify appearance flaws
•Able to use watch timing and pressure testing machines
•Excellent motor skills, hand/eye coordination and vision
•Ability to remain seated for an extended period of time
