Inspection Technicians are in direct communication with our in house repair department, outsourced manufacturers, and our internal teams here in the U.S. and across the globe. This position will provide critical information that empowers us to maintain company standards for our luxury watches.

Duties:
Inspections
Review watch in a time efficient manner
Evaluate the timing, functionality and aesthetics of each watch (quartz/mechanical/complications)
Authenticity/counterfeits checks
Identify any repairs needed and price them accordingly for repair distribution after purchase
Document and provide a description of watch and repair cost using an internal application
Review difficult/vintage pieces with brand managers
Returns
Evaluate & document the timing, functionality and aesthetics of each watch (quartz/mechanical/complications)
Price repairs accordingly for repair distribution
Quality Control
Perform final quality control on serviced watches: aesthetics/power reserve/timing precision/complications
Re-evaluate aged stock

Skills, Knowledge, & Personal Attribute Requirements:
High school diploma, GED or greater
Watch parts, product and watch repair process knowledge is necessary
Watchmaking experience including WOSTEP, CW21, SAWTA, OWME certifications preferred, but not required
Timepiece inspection experience
Proficiency with typing and computer literacy
Ability to self-prioritize workload
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to both focus and multi-task when needed – the demands of this job change daily based on volume
Physical Requirements
Able to use magnifying tools (handheld or watchmaker loupe) visually inspects watch to evaluate performance and identify appearance flaws
Able to use watch timing and pressure testing machines
Excellent motor skills, hand/eye coordination and vision
Ability to remain seated for an extended period of time
