Watchmaker – Quartz Watches

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Watchmaker with a specific concentration on Quartz Watches. As an experienced watchmaker, you will be responsible for the diagnosis and repair of various quartz watches. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, extensive knowledge of quartz watch technology, and the desire to work and perform at the highest professional level.

Repair Watch

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair of quartz watches, including old, discontinued Seiko watch calibers, to the manufacturer specifications.
  • Maintain an organized and clean workspace, adhering to safety and quality standards.
  • Perform all other repairs according to customer request, i.e., replace crystals, bands, pushbuttons, etc.
  • Repairs must be completed to the high level of Seiko quality standards.

Experience/Skills:

  • CW21 or WOSTEP Certification (or comparable proof of expertise in quartz watchmaking).
  • 3 – 4 years’ experience repairing quartz movements.
  • Must have knowledge and understanding of the method required to perform complex repairs, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Must have the necessary knowledge of the tools and equipment required to perform repairs.
  • Must be knowledgeable of all parts and functions.
  • Excellent manual dexterity skills to meet strict quality standards and daily production goals of about 8 – 10 repaired watches per day.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay: $28.00 – $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
