Jewelry Repair Job

MUST HAVE Jewelry Repair Skills:

  • Basic chain & clasp repair/soldering in 14k gold, silver, platinum
  • Ring sizing in all metals (Silver, Karat Gold, and Platinum)
  • Re-tipping or re-building prongs in all metals (Silver, Karat Gold, and Platinum)
  • Skilled stone setting of various shapes and sizes – compensation based on skill
  • Proper rhodium plating technique
  • Soldering cracks and breaks in jewelry
  • Head & sets on all shapes of stones

Position Requirements:

  • High school degree or equivalent preferred but not required.
  • 5 years Bench Jeweler (or relevant) experience in skilled trades working with fine metals.
  • Passing a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
  • Excellent organizational skills & attention to details.
  • Customer service minded individuals with a high standard for quality work.
  • AJP and/or New Approach education/training is a plus!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 – $32.00 per hour
