Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Jeweler to join our team in a small family owned business. We require a jeweler with a variety of repair and custom skills jewelry skills. Laser welding experience is A MUST.
*Advanced Stone Setting – Diamond & Colored Gems – All styles, prong, pave, flush, channel
*Laser Welding Experience – Retiping, Sizing, Chain Repair etc.
*Torch Skills – Ability to work on silver, platinum, & gold
* Moderate hand fabrication skills
*Repairs – sizing, retipping, stone setting, rush jobs, chain repair, clasp replacement, rebuilding channels, etc.
Casting experience is a plus (Centrifugal)
Mold making is a plus
Ability to speak with customers, explain complex repairs, and work under pressure on rush jobs and while you wait jobs
Gold buying experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Keep track of, organize, and fulfill repairs
- Order parts needed
- Keep sizing stock, laser wire, and misc. findings in stock
- Fulfill custom jobs
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.00 – $40.00 per hour
