Seeking a skilled and passionate Experienced Bench Jeweler to join a well-established and reputable organization within the jewelry industry.

Ring Sizing

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide range of bench jeweler duties, including but not limited to: sizing rings, repairing breaks and soldering, setting stones of various shapes and sizes, polishing and finishing jewelry pieces.
  • Fabricate custom jewelry pieces from sketches, models, or customer specifications.
  • Work with various precious metals, including gold, platinum, and silver.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring the proper care and maintenance of tools and equipment.
  • Adhere to quality control standards to ensure all work meets the highest levels of craftsmanship.
  • Collaborate effectively with sales associates, and other team members.
  • Potentially assist with appraisals and quality inspections.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a bench jeweler, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.
  • Proficiency in various jewelry repair and fabrication techniques.
  • Excellent stone setting skills, including prong, bezel, and pave settings.
  • Strong soldering and laser welding skills are highly desirable.
  • Ability to work with precision and accuracy, even under tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Graduate of a recognized jewelry trade school or equivalent experience is preferred.

Pay: $26.00 – $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
