What we’re looking for:

Wetzel & Truex Jewelers is seeking an experienced Bench Jeweler to join our team in Norfolk, Nebraska. This full-time, on-site position is ideal for a skilled professional who values precision, consistency, and high standards of craftsmanship.

Young Jeweler

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ring sizing and re-shanking
  • Diamond and gemstone setting, including prong, channel, and bead setting etc.
  • Chain repair, soldering, and general metal repair
  • Retipping and rebuilding worn prongs
  • Performing general jewelry repair and maintenance
  • Working collaboratively with store leadership to ensure quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction on every piece

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of bench jeweler experience preferred; however, we are open to considering candidates with fewer years of experience who demonstrate strong technical ability.
  • Solid proficiency in general repair and stone setting
  • Ability to work independently and manage a consistent repair workload
  • Professional demeanor, strong work ethic, and dependable attendance
  • Open-minded and collaborative approach to problem-solving

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $60,000–$90,000 annually, based on experience and skill level
  • Annual performance-based bonus
  • Two weeks of paid vacation
