We are an independently owned jewelry store located in Palm City, Florida. Family-owned and operated for over 40 years, we have built a strong reputation for delivering exceptional craftsmanship, customer service, and trust to our valued clientele along the Treasure Coast.
We are seeking an experienced Bench Jeweler who is passionate about quality workmanship and takes pride in restoring, repairing, and creating fine jewelry. Our ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail, a commitment to craftsmanship, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities / Job Duties
Jewelry Repair & Restoration
- Perform ring sizing (up/down), soldering, chain repair, and clasp replacement
- Stone setting (prong, bead, channel, flush, pavé)
- Re-tipping and rebuilding prongs
- Rhodium plating, polishing, and finishing
- Pearl restringing (a plus, not required)
- Replace heads, and settings
- Repair and restore vintage or damaged pieces
- Create wax molds or CAD support (optional depending on experience)
Stone & Metal Work
- Inspect, tighten, and secure stones
- Work confidently with gold, platinum, sterling silver, and occasionally alternative metals
- Evaluate jewelry for structural soundness
- Perform basic engraving (optional)
Shop Operations
- Maintain a clean and organized bench
- Manage repair jobs in a timely and efficient manner
- Collaborate with sales staff on repair estimates
- Ability to confidently explain repair procedures to customers
- Perform quality checks to ensure professional standards
- Assist with custom design jobs when needed
- Occasional assistance with gold buys (evaluating stones, checking karat, etc.)
Qualifications
- 2+ years of bench jeweler or goldsmith experience required
- Proficient with soldering, torch work, and polishing equipment
- Strong stone-setting skills preferred
- Ability to work with gold, platinum, and silver
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Reliable, professional, and self-motivated
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with laser welders is a plus
- Must pass bench test
Work Schedule
- Approximately 40 hours per week
- Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:15 PM
(Store hours: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Weekends OFF (We do work Saturdays in December)
