Jewelry Repair

Position Overview

The ideal candidate is an experienced jeweler capable of performing a wide range of repair work, demonstrating strong technical expertise and a commitment to excellence. This role involves handling daily repair jobs and completing routine service tasks while upholding Leonardo Jewelers’ longstanding reputation for superior craftsmanship. The jeweler will also work closely with clients and the sales team to ensure clear communication, accurate expectations, and an exceptional overall experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform jewelry repairs including:
  • Ring sizing (up and down)
  • Soldering
  • Chain, clasp, and shank repairs
  • Prong re-tipping and rebuilding
  • Stone setting for diamonds and colored gemstones
  • Polishing, refinishing, and restoring jewelry to like-new condition
  • Basic watch services including:
  • Watch band adjustments
  • Battery replacement
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
  • Manage repair workflow and deadlines efficiently
  • Communicate professionally with team members to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of bench jeweler experience
  • Proficiency in soldering, sizing, stone setting, polishing, and general repair
  • Experience with gold, platinum, and silver
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
  • Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality
  • Dependable, honest, and professional demeanor
  • Ability to handle multiple repair jobs and maintain deadlines
