Vacancy for Bench Jeweler (Waltham,MA)

Duties

• Use hand tools and power tools to clean casting with accuracy and care
• Follow customer instructions
• Make, cut, inject silicon molds
• Cut casting trees with jewelry saw blade
• Operate machinery such as casting sprue cutter, molding cutting tools, and other manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace within the manufacturing facility to promote safety and productivity
• Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks to meet production deadlines
• Conduct quality checks throughout the manufacturing process to identify defects or inconsistencies
• Assist in inventory management by handling warehouse experience tasks such as stock replenishment and tool maintenance

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bench Jeweler or similar role in jewelry manufacturing or repair
• Mechanical knowledge related to jewelry techniques
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and factory equipment used in jewelry production
• Ability to follow instructions accurately
• Strong attention to detail combined with excellent manual dexterity
• Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly desirable

Hours

• Monday 8:30am – Latest 5pm
• Tuesday-Friday 9:30am-latest 5pm
• If you finish your jobs early you get to leave and go home early and get paid for 8 hours of work for the day
