Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical watch movements with meticulous attention to detail.
• Perform routine maintenance and servicing, including cleaning, lubrication, and adjustment.
• Replace worn or damaged parts, potentially including crafting custom components.
• Conduct water resistance testing and ensure all repairs meet industry standards.
• Provide excellent customer service, effectively communicating repair needs, timelines, and costs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring a dust-free environment for watchmaking.
• May also include some light jewelry repair duties (depending on experience).

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in watch repair or a relevant field (e.g., clock repair).
• Proven understanding of mechanical watch movements and their functions.
• Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for working with small parts.
• Strong visual acuity, with or without corrective lenses.
• Ability to work independently and meticulously following established procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with customers.
• Familiarity with watch brands and their specific movements a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
