As a Timepiece Polisher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the exquisite appearance of both new and customer-owned timepieces. You will be responsible for performing expert finishing and cleaning techniques, ensuring each timepiece meets our brand’s high-quality standards.

Job responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Polish and refurbish watch cases and bracelets to the highest possible condition.
  • Master buffering with various compounds, lapping, and thrumming techniques.
  • Disassemble, polish, clean, and reassemble watch cases and bracelets (training provided)
  • Ensure all repair work adheres to brand quality standards
  • Engrave casebacks (training provided).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
  • Contribute to the safe operation of the workshop.

Profile

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Successful completion of a polishing bench test.
  • Familiarity with watch construction and manual dexterity.
  • Proficiency in applying multiple finishing techniques.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently under deadlines.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to operate computer-operated technical equipment (engraving machine).

Additional information

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a production or repair polisher, jeweler, or silversmith, with experience in all aspects of metal finishing.
  • Laser engraving experience is a plus.
