During the recent and ongoing COVID-19 pandemic the Horological Society of New York (HSNY) had to postpone their April 1 Gala and Charity Auction and move it to August 5 of this year. This auction will celebrate the society’s 154th year anniversary and will auction off some interesting time pieces as well as some experiences for avid watch enthusiasts and collectors. Christie’s will host the auction and have several lots for sale that include a Gruebel Forsey manufacture tour in Switzerland as well as a Grand Seiko Horological and Gastronomic experience for four people. This private experience will have a Grand Seiko watchmaker showing his craft as well as famed sushi chef Daisuke Nakazawa to serve for lunch.

Watches will be for sale in a wide range of prices from the affordable ($400-$700) to the high end ($5,000-$10,000) with all proceeds going towards the educational efforts of HSNY. This event will be open to the public with ticket prices from $200-$400.
