Full Job Description
Bario Neal is a fast-growing company that is redefining jewelry as well as ethical and sustainable business practices. We are currently looking for an experienced, full time bench jeweler at our Philadelphia Flagship location.
Qualifications
•Degree from college or technical school, two to four years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
•Superior knowledge of jeweler’s tools, machinery and equipment
•Experience with precious metals: cleaning castings, hand fabrication, polishing, and beginner stone setting
•Solid repair skills as well as experience sizing bands
•Basic diamond and colored stone knowledge
•Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and Dropbox
•Able to pass a bench test for assessment
Additional Skills Valued, But Not Required:
•Experience designing custom jewelry
•Hand engraving techniques
•Intermediate to advanced stone setting
•Platinum fabrication, rhodium plating, laser welding, and wax carving
•Familiar with BrightPearl or other retail-based operating systems

Key Responsibilities
•Production bench work, including but not limited to: Assembly, fabrication, repair, restoration, and polishing of fine jewelry that meets Bario Neal’s quality standards
•Ensure that gold stock, findings, loose stones, and precious metal recoveries (hard scrap, filings, sweeps, vacuum bags, etc.) are properly maintained and accounted for
•Basic equipment maintenance
•Develop a deep knowledge of the Bario Neal collections and ethical practices
•Work a Monday – Friday schedule at our Philadelphia location. Adhere to assigned schedule

Pay range for this position is $18-$24/hour depending on experience. Bario Neal also offers a robust benefits package.
