About the job
This position requires extensive jeweler and setting knowledge in all areas of Fine Jewelry, as well as the customization of existing items in both platinum and all color gold. In addition, the understanding of classic bench techniques and their application is necessary. Compensation is commensurate with skill and experience, and will include full benefits, including vacation, and health insurance.
Responsibilities
•Must have a comprehensive and diverse applied knowledge of jewelry repairs and alterations of rings; this includes the expertise to work confidently with a variety of color stones and diamonds
•The individual should be a solution oriented, out of the box thinker with the ability to take directions and collaborate on ideas with peers. The candidate needs to be eager to learn and open-minded to new ideas as well as teamwork
•Able to complete setting requirements within an established project time frame.
•Maintain excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
•Inspect and evaluate the quality of product and workmanship
Qualifications
•Minimum of 10+ years of Jewelry expertise
•Knowledge and utilization of torch
•Knowledge and utilization of laser
•Polishing and setting
•Good communication skills
