Endoscopy Equipment Repair Technician

We are currently looking to fill a full-time (40 hours) position for Endoscopy Equipment repair technician. Qualifications to fill this position are as follows:
***WILLING TO TRAIN, HOWEVER, SHOULD HAVE SOME TYPE OF BACKGROUND EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING:
Is mechanically/technically-inclined and is experienced working with and repairing small and intricate instruments and/or equipment, OR
Has had previous experience working in the fields of healthcare equipment repairs, mechanics, jewelers ,watch-makers, cell phone repairs and small electrical parts, OR
Has had previous experience in repairing endoscopes and flexibles
Please note: This is not a surgical technician job
Responsibilities:
Demonstrates knowledge about all endoscopy equipment and the uses thereof.
Uses appropriate handling of facility equipment.
Uses good judgement and critical thinking skills to facilitate problem resolution in servicing of endoscopes
Demonstrates competency to perform repair service, operational verification procedures and preventive maintenance on various endoscopy units.
Assist in technical training, as requested.
Follows all safety rules while on the job. Reports all accidents promptly and corrects minor safety hazards. Communicates with peers and management regarding any hazards identified in the workplace.
Communicates with other team members in a professional and responsible manner.
