We are seeking a qualified watchmaker to join our growing team, as the UK Service Centre for Franck Muller, Maurice Lacroix and Parmigiani. We service and repair watches from a simple battery reseal right through to grand complications, tourbillons and minute repeaters. Alongside our primary brands, we also work on Patek Philippe, Hublot, Omega, Tag Heuer, Rolex and Longines.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

To service and repair all types of quartz and automatic watches to a high standard.

A Supervisory role may be available for the right candidate.

•Carry out services and repairs to all types of mechanical and quartz watches
•Diagnose and repair faults within watches
•Accurately estimate the cost of repairs
•Carry out refurbishment of precious metal and stainless-steel cases and bracelets
•Support the training of technicians and junior watchmakers (where required)
•Maintaining a high quality control on the after sales service of watch brands
•Promote quality achievement and performance improvement
•Develop and maintain an in-depth current product and brand knowledge
•Pro-active in developing technical skills and industry knowledge
•Attend brand house training (where required)
•Maintain high quality of work – keeping returns to a minimum
•Maintenance of the workshop housekeeping standards

Profile:

•High level of technical skills: WOSTEP/BHI or Swiss watchmaking qualification and training is ESSENTIAL
•Professional/career level watchmaking experience (Swiss/luxury brand preferable)
•Ability to polish an advantage
•Experience of successfully working as part of a team
•Able to work under pressure achieving a high level of accuracy
•Demonstrate an attitude of professionalism, conscientiousness and reliability

Bond Street Watch Servicing is based in central Luton, 5 minutes from the train station and 3 minutes from the main shopping mall and car park. Working hours are 9:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday. Annual holiday allowance of 20 days. Please detail your current salary when applying.
