Who are we ?
Watchmaster is a key player in the second-hand watch market. It is a sector estimated at 20 billion €, which is growing at the rate of 10% per year and which should, in the future, reach a size up to ten times greater than that of the primary market. Our raison d’être is to make luxury watches more liquid and accessible by giving customers the opportunity to sell and buy them on our state-of-the-art platform. We actively contribute to increasing their value through our refurbishment process and our in-house certification. This makes them comparable to new watches while displaying very attractive prices. Our team now has 100 employees who are passionate about watchmaking and driven by the objective of establishing Watchmaster as the European leader in second-hand luxury watches. Following the acquisition of our famous French counterpart Montres Modernes & Collection (MMC), we now need an additional watchmaker to support our growth and make our French adventure a real success story.
As a Qualified Watchmaker (m/f) , you will be responsible for the authentication, maintenance and repair of luxury watches entering our platform. You will work on a wide variety of pieces, ranging from vintage Rolex references to Patek Philippe complications.
Your tasks:
•Maintenance and repair of luxury watches from a wide variety of brands such as Rolex, Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe and Panerai (mechanical and quartz movements).
•Diagnostics of mechanical problems.
•Authentication and creation of quotes for watches entering our platform.
•Rigorous quality control for all repairs and maintenance.
Your profile :
•You are a graduate of a watchmaking training such as CAP, BMA, DN MADE, WOSTEP, BHI or any other comparable training.
•You have experience in the maintenance and repair of luxury watches. Ideally, you are accredited by Rolex and/or any other luxury brand.
•You are lively, motivated and proactive and are a team player.
•You know how to work independently and have a keen sense of priorities and deadlines.
•You have a great thirst for learning and are motivated by challenges.
