POSITION SUMMARY:

The mechanical watchmaker, expert level is responsible for the testing and repair of mechanical watches
for end consumers and retailers. This role will work on more advanced pieces, including but not limited
to Zenith. This role encompasses being a key resource for other watchmakers to ask questions, share
knowledge and best practices, and lead by example in the workshop.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Watchmaking
Tests and repairs mechanical watches with prescribed equipment and methods.
Cleans, adjusts, and calibrates watches.
Insures that estimate correctly reflects required servicing
Ensures repair work meets brand quality standards
Ensuring inventory levels on shop parts management system
Meets assigned productivity standards
Other job duties as assigned

Mechanical watch repair skills
Ability to work under timelines
Ability to work collaboratively
Self-motivated to work independently
Additional levels of training including but not limited to Zenith training
Ability to work with and mentor others to help build a stronger team
Must be able to effectively communicate complex watch repair issues to help with client
expectations

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

WOSTEP certification (or equivalent) and 4 years watch repair experience or minimum 8 years watch
repair experience
Certification in high complexity repair and to demonstrate the ability to carry out said repairs
effectively, with the highest of standards
