Position Title: Quality Control/Evaluation specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible upholding repair quality control measures within guidelines established by LVMH Watch &
Jewelry. Work quickly and accurately to meet daily quality control quotas and best practices from both
our internal watchmaking team and our external partners

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Diagnosis
Work with watchmaking team to report product quality defects or potential weak points
Ensure Counterfeit or non-original items are reported in the system and customers are informed
Examine completed repaired merchandise to verify that the servicing has been completed in
accordance with the client’s request.
Examine manufactured stock merchandise to verify they are in accordance with the brand’s
quality standards.
Support inter- office tasks
Systematically update the information in the system, and enter the item conditions, repair details
while ensuring adherence to the lead time established by the brand.
Knowledge and adherence to all security procedures.
Participate in the continuous process improvement of the workshop.
Work with Technical manager to give quality feedback
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Ability to adeptly prioritize with strong attention to detail and follow through
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively.
Clear and consistent communication skills
Self-motivated to work independently.
Mechanical aptitude with strong desire to learn
Ability to type and learn a computer program.
Demonstrated ability to communicate in a courteous and professional manner.
Strong attention to detail, focus, and acuity
Technical experience in the watch and/or jewelry industries preferred, but not required
Education and Experience
Previous estimating or quality control and or estimating experience in a production environment
strongly preferred bur training will also be provided
For internal candidates – knowledge of Internal systems strongly preferred
High school diploma required
