LVMH Watch & Jewellery UK is part of one of the world’s leading luxury goods companies distributing and servicing prestigious watch brands TAG Heuer, Zenith, Hublot & Bvlgari. As part of our commitment to provide customers with a premium service, we are looking to recruit the following position within our UK aftersales team:

Watch Technician

Based in Walkden, Manchester

Responsible for carrying out a range of watch repairs and services to the highest standard supporting the achievement of departmental targets and supporting the development of the UK aftersales business.

Your main duties will be:

•Carry out all general repairs including battery jobs, part jobs, under guarantees, quartz & quartz chronograph servicing
•Carry out checks on the functioning of quartz and mechanical movements
•Assist with technical preparation department, (i.e. external maintenance of watches), including de-casing, ultrasonic cleaning and resealing
•Quality control own work to ensure high quality standards are met
•Correct operation of machinery in accordance with safety procedures given
•Maintenance and cleaning of workshop equipment while following and maintaining up to date knowledge of Health and Safety procedures
•Pro-active in developing technical skills and enhancing knowledge
•Ensuring a safe and orderly working environment
•Achieve workload targets within agreed timeframe working to strict deadlines
•Develop and maintain an in-depth current product and brand knowledge
•Support team colleagues and promote a positive work culture
•To help & support Estimation department when necessary

Profile

Your Profile:

•GCSE level qualification
•Proven ability of meeting targets and contributing to departmental targets
•Passion for watches/luxury timepieces
•Be a brand ambassador of the business
•Appreciation of luxury brand values
•Ambitious with a willingness to learn and complete development training
•Close attention to detail
•Drive for results
•Able to prioritise and plan own workload
