Charles Martin Watch company is a new exciting and fast growing independent watch repair business based in the busy Market town of Uttoxeter deep the creative county of Staffordshire.
The company was founded by two friends with a passion for watches and customer service in early 2016. Our intention was to build the best watch repair company in the country. We achieve this by challenging the status quo of high prices, long turnaround times and unnecessary work. We believe that by changing how watches are cared for and repaired we can give the best possible service to our customers.
As part of our plan for growth we are looking to recruit a skilled watchmaker to join our team;
Job Title
A fully qualified Watchmaker
Duties
Your Duties will include the testing, examining, cleaning servicing and regulating of Quartz, Manual, Automatic and Chronograph watches. You may also be required to complete various part or repair jobs including polishing of watch cases and bracelets.
Skills and competencies
The successful candidate must see themselves as a craftsman that only works to the highest standard in order to provide the best possible service to our customers.
You will also value honesty and integrity and be able to communicate on all levels. You will have experience in working on luxury watches in the past and confident in servicing and repairing all types of calibres and brands.
You will have undergone a watch makers apprenticeship or have recognized qualifications such as BHI or WOSTEP or be a timeserved watchmaker
Relationships
The watchmaker would work very closely with other watchmakers, watch case polisher and admin staff. You may also be asked to deal directly with our customers to help and advise them whenever required.
